Example 1: Matching Coefficients of Thermal Expansion (CTE)

Matching the CTE between the package and the window lid is essential.
⇒Borosilicate glass, which has a CTE close to that of alumina ceramic, is selected with added bandpass filter coatings for the two examples shown below.
