Launch of the New Air-cooled UV LED Light Source "G7A Series"

Kyocera introduces the G7A Series—our latest air-cooled, UV LED light source that stands at the forefront of technological advancements. Launching in June 2025, the G7A Series is designed with engineers in mind, delivering exceptional curing performance for ink, resin, and adhesion applications—all while being remarkably compact.
SUSTAINABLE INNOVATIONS IN UV-CURING
UV curing light sources have faced important challenges, such as the need to reduce CO2 emissions by decreasing power consumption, lowering ozone emissions, and complying with mercury regulations. There is also a growing need for compact, efficient light sources. Kyocera’s UV LED light source addresses these demands with an air-cooled system that does not require water cooling. This not only reduces environmental impact but also simplifies installation.
Our advanced technology delivers outstanding curing performance for a wide variety of applications, such as printing, adhesion, and liquid gasket.
WHY THE GA7 SERIES STANDS OUT?
1. High Irradiance
Achieves the highest irradiance in its class *1 with 20W/cm², enabled by Kyocera’s proprietary ceramic substrate and advanced heat dissipation design. This enables high-speed curing performance, with a total dose of 400 mJ/cm² at 50 m/min―comparable to water-cooled systems.

2. Compact Design for Space Savings
The G7A Series features a 62% smaller footprint and 10% lower height than our conventional model (G5H Series), making it one of the most compact UV LED light sources available, with the same optical performance (120 × 52 × 151mm). The G7A offers a 30mm irradiation window, contributing to space savings while maintaining high curing performance.
3. Customizable for Diverse Applications
The irradiation width can be customized from 120mm up to 2,400mm, in 120mm increments, by connecting multiple units. This scalability allows the G7A to adapt to a wide variety of applications and production line requirements.
4. Stable Operation Enabled by Monitoring Functions
The G7A Series is equipped with monitoring functions for LED temperature, LED current, fan operating time, and accumulated lighting hours. It can detect lighting and system errors, and provides notifications for filter replacement and the end of LED lifespan, ensuring stable system operation.
EMBRACE A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE
Kyocera is committed not only to advancing technology but also to promoting sustainability. Our air-cooled system does not require water cooling, reducing CO2 and ozone emissions. This not only lowers environmental impact but also simplifies installation by removing the need for additional cooling equipment, helping manufacturers achieve greater efficiency and sustainability.
With the G7A Series, Kyocera continues to deliver solutions that combine top-level performance with a reduced environmental footprint—helping manufacturers meet today’s challenges and build a more sustainable future.
Stay tuned for more updates as we prepare for the launch of the G7A Series. Let's transform the way we think about UV curing together!
