We may be on the brink of transforming science fiction technology into reality. Each year, optics technology continues to improve, enabling advancements in high-speed optical communications, precision medical devices, and augmented/virtual reality (AR/VR). Kyocera is at the forefront of this innovation, developing advanced optical design technology that utilizes proprietary mirrors to create a stunningly realistic aerial display experience. This product not only provides realistic three-dimensional visuals but also allows for interactive communication through touch and various sensors.
When utilized in commercial spaces, medical settings, museums, amusement parks, and other venues, it offers an innovative way to engage with content beyond the capabilities of traditional formats. This system was honored with the CEATEC AWARD 2022 at Asia's largest international exhibition and was featured at CES 2025 in a unique aerial display automotive demo at Kyocera's booth. There is considerable anticipation surrounding its potential applications in diverse industries, including the education, entertainment, and medical sectors.
