To promote sustainable fashion, Kyocera partnered with leading and upcoming designers in Japan to launch the TRUE BLUE TEXTILE project in March 2024.
Designed off of the Niyodo River in Kochi Prefecture, which is said to have the most beautiful water in all of Japan, True Blue Textile is printed using Kyocera's FOREARTH textile printer, which cuts 99% of water from textile printing.
Using the TRUE BLUE TEXTILE, cutting-edge Japanese fashion designer Kunihiko Morinaga from Anrealage developed two "waterdrop" designs to represent the cycle of water and sustainability.
