About Optical Connectors
Example of ferrule usage
Optical connectors are used to connect optical fibers. The fiber is fixed within the center of the ferrule, at the tip of the optical connector; by inserting the ferrule into the sleeve within the adapter, the optical fibers are aligned and connected with great precision. Kyocera offers a full lineup of ferrules and sleeves.
