FIR camera. Sounds difficult, but it really isn't! And it's a technology we hope will save lives in the future. FIR is short for "Far Infrared" and it is a camera type Kyocera is developing for automotive applications. FIR cameras are great because they use sensors to detect the heat from objects so the camera to see objects even in the dark or during adverse weather conditions, such as fog.
