International Day of Education

Unequivocally, more education makes the world better. Education makes us happier, more tolerant, and, by fostering citizens with more skills to succeed in the global economy, more prosperous. Kyocera is proud to promote support of education at all levels as a pillar of our corporate social activities. This includes book donations, elementary school lessons on solar technology, study-abroad, scholarships, cultural exchange programs, research support at several universities in the United States and Japan, and support of the prestigious Kyoto Prize, which honors individuals who have made significant contributions in the categories of Advanced Technology, Basic Sciences, and Arts and Philosophy.
In the future, we will continue to explore new ways we can contribute to education development around the world in order to build a more prosperous society for everyone.
