Kyocera's Trifuente energy management solution seamlessly combines solar power, lithium-ion batteries, and SOFCs with an AI-based management system to promote the efficient use of renewable energy in a particular geographic region. In developing this solution, Kyocera aims to promote affordable clean energy and contribute to achieving internationally recognized Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
In this article, we speak with members of the research and development team working on this solution about challenges faced during product development and their vision for Kyocera's newly established Smart Energy Division which will bear the responsibility of developing and promoting Trifuente and other renewable solutions.
