Creating the future: Kyocera's patents for 6G Vol.2
Load Reduction in Base Stations through Role Sharing
Kyocera has announced that it is actively engaged in developing a patent portfolio for 6G technology and introduced one of the patents on the technology that we have developed on our website.
Creating the future: Kyocera's patents for 6G
Now we would like to introduce another new patent.
Currently, Dual Connectivity technology is known, in which a device communicates wirelessly between two different base stations (master node and secondary node). Dual Connectivity is expected to evolve into Multi-connectivity in the future, where a device will utilize multiple secondary nodes. At that time, the load on the master node may significantly increase if the master node takes on the control of multiple secondary nodes as it does in Dual Connectivity. According to this patent, however, it is possible to prevent such a load increase.
Please refer to the new patent at the link below for more details.
