Kyocera has obtained various patents for the technology used in "TORQUE® X01" a rugged mobile phone by Kyocera.
In February 2017, the "TORQUE® X01" a rugged and durable mobile phone was released in Japan. We have obtained many patents while developing the various technologies1 which enable highly durable performance of mobile phones. Kyocera has also obtained various patents for other functions, such as a sensor function that is useful outdoors, all of which contribute to improving convenience for users while still enabling highly durable performance.
Kyocera will continue utilizing patents to develop attractive products in the future.
