Together with the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), Kyocera has successfully verified durability of its hermetic power and signal feedthrough components at -253℃ for liquid-hydrogen (LH₂) applications. The technology achieved up to 100 A (feedthrough) and 110 A (MS‑8 pin), enabling high‑power supply and extraction in liquid‑hydrogen (LH₂) storage and transfer systems.

This successful represents a major step toward the safe and reliable storage and transportation of liquid hydrogen-an essential requirement for realizing a hydrogen‑powered society.
Through our fine ceramic hermetic technologies, Kyocera will continue to contribute to more efficient hydrogen infrastructure while helping accelerate the path to clean energy.
