Autumn is coming to an end in Japan.
Japan's maple leaves develop into warm colors of red to yellow in November and December. Needless to say, their beauty during the peak season, "chirimomiji" (scattered colored leaves) is simply stunning.
Many people in Japan love walking through the forest or visiting temples and shrines to see the beautiful autumn foliage "Koyo." And there are myriad hiking trails, resorts, hot springs, and restaurants that invite travelers to take in the sights of autumn.
Check out these beautiful Koyo photos taken in the rain by a Kyocera employee in Minoh, Osaka, using their Kyocera smartphone!
