Meet Mr. John Vogl, the Business Unit Manager for Kyocera Automotive and Industrial Solutions GmbH (KAS), based in Frankfurt, Germany. In his current role, John is responsible for Kyocera's optical components business in Europe and manages the supply chain for all its products. John enjoys tackling the challenges he and his team face at Kyocera, as it is his mission to find new customers for new KAS optical components and introduce new products to existing customers. To do this job effectively, John needs to work closely with his local team and Kyocera's headquarters in Japan since his role was previously managed from Japan up until late 2019.
John enjoys working at Kyocera for many reasons, as he finds the company has a unique culture and philosophy. At Kyocera he has felt valued and respected from day one. He finds that the management is very supportive, acknowledges hard work, and values employee feedback, which enables creativity and innovation. He also appreciates Kyocera's large portfolio of products and solutions, global presence, and long-standing relationship with customers. Work-life balance is another key benefit of working at Kyocera for John. He currently splits his time between Frankfurt and Munich to be with his family, and they are currently enjoying the "marvelous nature" of Bavaria.
