By publishing an Integrated Report annually, Kyocera aims to provide shareholders, investors, and all other stakeholders with a deeper understanding of the Kyocera Group's vision.
For the 2025 edition, we are focusing on the "Kyocera Philosophy," our unique management philosophy centered around the concept of "Do what is right as a human being": the standard of judgment and code of conduct at the very core of Kyocera's origins. This edition highlights an interview with our President discussing how the Philosophy is practiced in our organization, and future strategies for business growth. It also covers the Kyocera Group's diverse range of products and technologies, programs to enhance human resources, which we consider our most important management resource, and initiatives for reducing our environmental impact, including efforts toward achieving carbon neutrality.
Toward creating new value for society while also achieving business growth, the Kyocera Group has designated four key markets: Information and Communications, Automotive, Environment and Energy, and Medical and Healthcare. We are concentrating our management resources in these markets, which are expected to be future drivers of growth. In addition, we are also identifying materiality issues to realize coexistence with society, the international community, and the environment, and are strengthening our initiatives to address key issues related to each.
Furthermore, in addition to our corporate governance system that aims to ensure fair and efficient management, this edition of our Integrated Report is the first to feature an interview with outside directors, in which they discuss various management challenges and their vision for building a management structure adaptable to the changing times.
Moving forward, we will continue striving to solve critical societal challenges together with all our stakeholders and work towards further enhancing corporate value.
