Changes in Organizational Structure, Board of Directors, Executive Officers and Management Personnel

This is to notify that Kyocera Corporation (President: Hideo Tanimoto) resolved at a meeting of its board of directors held on February 1, 2021 the following changes in organizational structure, board of directors, executive officers and management personnel.

1. Changes in Organizational Structure and Directors (as of April 1, 2021)
The Kyocera Group is engaged in a wide range of businesses, from advanced materials to components, devices, equipment, services, and networks. As shown in the table below, our business groups and subsidiaries are to be organized into three segments, and administrative functions are to be integrated into a separate segment. By empowering the leaders of each new segment, this structure will help us optimize rapidly changing business circumstances while expedite decision-making in such key areas as business strategy, investment, human resource development, and others.

The board of directors will be streamlined from the current 15 members to 9 members in order to expedite decision-making and enhance supervisory function. The following directors are to resign at a General Meeting of Shareholders to be held in late June 2021.
