Kyocera Document Solutions America (KDA) is a Kyocera Group subsidiary company whose mission is to help its customers manage their document workflow and help put knowledge to work in their business through various hardware and software solutions. Based in Fairfield, New Jersey, and led by President and CEO Oscar Sanchez. With 1,400 employees in total, KDA comprises 12 subsidiary companies and almost 60 office locations in the United States, plus offices in Canada, Chile, Brazil, and Mexico. KDA has four main business sectors comprising printing, print management, content services, and IT solutions. According to Mr. Sanchez, this is an important time for KDA as "we are undergoing the biggest digital transformation in our history. We realize that this step is necessary to become more agile as an organization to provide the best service in the industry."


KDA has recently taken several steps to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic both internally and externally. Internally, the company has enabled teleworking to promote a safe and flexible work environment for its' employees. Also, to support our dealers, the company provides online training, webinars, and a new portfolio of solutions specifically for IT Solutions. Externally, KDA has launched a "Work from Home" digital marketing campaign highlighting what organizations must do to address the challenges presented by remote working and best practices to help remote workers achieve competitive advantages. This has also highlighted the need for enhanced security while working remotely as part of KDA's broader mission to enable digital transformation with its customers.
