General Rectifier Diodes
What Are General Rectifier Diodes?
General rectifier diodes are diodes with PN junctions that rectifiy alternating currents with a commercial frequency (50Hz/60Hz) .
They are also used as diodes to protect the power supply from reverse connection or reverse current.
Generally, general rectifier diodes have higher reverse voltage and are suitable for rectification (AC to DC conversion) of commercial power supply.

Kyocera's General Rectifier Diodes
Kyocera's lineup of general rectifier diodes covers a wide range of forward currents from 0.5A to 20A and reverse voltages up to 900V. In addition, some products are qualified by the automotive reliability standard AEC-Q101.
