Engineers, when you think of innovation, do you picture enhancing human experiences, even in unexpected ways? At Kyocera, we do. We're excited to share how we're applying our spirit of innovation to make air travel safer and more enjoyable for everyone.

We're incredibly proud to be pioneering the development and provision of truly inclusive, allergy-friendly in-flight meals through matoil, one of Kyocera's innovative startups.

The result? We're thrilled to announce that three delicious desserts -- "Cookie Plain," "Madeleine Cacao," and "Chocolate Lemon Mousse Cake" -- developed through this collaboration, have been selected by Japan Airlines (JAL) as special allergy-friendly options!

Since March 1st, these delightful treats have been gracing the First Class and Business Class cabins on international JAL flights departing from Japan.

What makes these special? Each dessert is meticulously crafted, leveraging matoil's extensive expertise, to be completely free from 28 common allergens. This isn't just about avoiding allergens; it's about engineering a safe, delicious, and worry-free dining experience, even at 30,000 feet.

As the development team shared:
"When passengers pick up one of these desserts onboard, we want that moment to become a cherished memory of their journey. That's why we meticulously focused not only on exceptional taste but also on elegant packaging design and beautiful presentation."

This initiative perfectly embodies Kyocera's commitment to innovation, inclusivity, and enhancing quality of life through technology - even when that technology supports culinary delights! We believe in engineering solutions that truly make a difference, touching people's lives in tangible, positive ways.
