"Secrets of the Kimono: The Advent of Yuzen Dyeing" - now on view at the National Museum of Modern Art in Kyoto - offers a captivating look into the artistry of Japan's iconic traditional garment. The exhibition brings together around 100 exquisite examples of yuzen-dyed textiles, along with masterpieces by artists selected "Living National Treasures" in Japan, recognized for their important intangible cultural properties.

To enhance the experience, the museum's first-floor entrance hall and third-floor special exhibition room will be beautifully decorated with fabrics printed using Kyocera's digital textile inkjet printer FOREARTH, adding a contemporary touch of elegance to the historic craft.

FOREARTH is engineered based on a water-free concept that eliminates much of the water waste from textile printing to promote a more sustainable alternative for the fashion industry.

The exhibition will run through Monday, September 15. Don't miss this rare opportunity to immerse yourself in the timeless beauty of the kimono.
