Do you know September 23 is International Day of Sign Languages? First recognized by the United Nations in 2017, the day plays a vital role in promoting how sign language and spoken language stand as equals and aims to raise awareness for the human rights of people with hearing difficulties. The date "September 23" aligns with the anniversary of the establishment of the World Federation of the Deaf on September 23, 1951.

In this video, our colleagues with hearing difficulties working at Kyocera's Global headquarters in Kyoto say "THANK YOU" to their peers in various sign languages from around the world.

Kyocera will do our best to create a work environment where all employees, regardless of different abilities, can communicate comfortably and work to achieve their full potential.
