Kyocera provides glass hermetic feedthroughs and connectors based on its glass-to-metal sealing technology. We offer two types of products: RF coaxial feedthroughs (high-frequency connectors) with flanges, and D-subminiature connectors (multi-pin feedthroughs). Configurations and dimensions of our standard products are compliant with an industry standard specification (IEEE-STD-287, MIL-STD-348, or MIL-C-24308). Custom-designed products are also available. These glass hermetic feedthroughs are used for a diverse range of applications from industrial manufacturing machinery such as semiconductor manufacturing equipment to scientific and technological equipment.

Kyocera provides glass hermetic feedthroughs that can be used under highly hermetic circumstances. The hermetic level of 1.0 x 10-9Pa x m3/sec is assured through helium leak testing. Dimensions of our standard RF feedthroughs meet an industry standard specification (IEEE-STD-287 or MIL-STD-348). Coaxial designs (pin diameter, glass material, etc.) are optimized by Kyocera for high-frequency performance up to 65GHz. Both standard (see below) and custom designs are available.

50-pin D-Sub Connector

The hermetic level of 1.0 x 10-9Pa x m3/sec is assured through helium leak testing. Dimensions of our standard D-subminiature connectors meet an industry standard specification (MIL-C-24308). Configuration of D-shaped shell and number of pins can be customized.
