6251 Series

The 6251 Series are suitable for applications in which high contact reliability is required under harsh environments regarding vibration, temperature, humidity, etc. Applications include in-vehicle units such as car navigation system units, GPS units, and car audio products, medical or industrial equipment, and OA or AV equipment. FPCs/FFCs with tabs prevent improper mating, enable secure connection, and increase the force to retain FPCs/FFCs. The FPCs/FFCs can be also be used in our right angle 6288 Series and vertical 6801 Series.

Features

  • Manufactured in factories with ISO/TS16949 certifications, which is the international standards for quality management systems in the automotive industry.
  • When an FPC/FFC is inserted, it is locked in the connector by turning the tab at the center of the actuator upward. This tab serves as both the space in the vacuuming area and the lock operation part. The FPC/FFC is released by turning the tabs on both sides downward to unlock and open the actuator. These simple operations improve workability. In addition, secure lock of the FPC/FFC can be confirmed by a “click” feeling.
  • Connectors are delivered with the actuators open, thus contributing to workability.
