Optical Isolators

Kyocera provides optical isolators for fiber optic communication modules. In addition to cylindrical and surface mount optical isolators, you will find optical isolators attached on receptacles, ferrules and PANDA fiber pigtail.

Note: PANDA stands for Polarization-maintaining and Absorption-reducing.

· Semi-double stage isolator is aligned to PANDA fiber pigtail.
The number of optical alignment processes at customers is reduced.
· Polarization extinction ratio: 20dB min.
· Isolation: 45dB min. (@1,550nm, 25oC)
· Insertion loss: 0.6dB max. (@1,550nm, 25oC)
· Lead (Pb) free isolator chip available
