"Kyocera Around the World" introduces Kyocera's partner companies making a difference around the world. This article introduces Kyocera Document Solutions Deutschland GmbH (KDDE) in Germany.

KDDE supplies high-quality laser printers, multifunctional systems, and software solutions for document management. Established in 1986, KDDE contributes significantly to the Kyocera Group's total sales for the European market.

General Manager Mr. Dietmar Nick emphasizes that Kyocera provides not only printers and copiers: "We have a wide range of solutions for the lifecycle of documents. From incoming mail and scanning solutions to document management software and output management systems." One recent project Mr. Nick is particularly proud of is KDDE's recent partnership with the professional ice hockey club Krefeld Pinguine. The hockey club uses Kyocera printers and the "Kyocera Workflow Manager" document management solution to streamline their processes.

Mr. Nick also believes that the large proportion of small and mid-sized companies in Germany presents unique needs for sustainability and digital transformation. He explains, "From orders to contracts to invoices - documents build the core of every business process. We help customers to make their document-based processes "smarter" - in other words, more efficient, sustainable, and flexible."

The team at KDDE provides sustainable and high-efficiency document infrastructure and document processes, including CO2-neutral printers, software solutions, and other services. KDDE developed "Kyocera Print Green," a program that allows customers to print CO2 neutral, in cooperation with NGO and environment organization Deutsche Umwelthilfe.

KDDE was recognized as a "Great Place to Work" in Germany in part for its attractive and futuristic office. The branch office in Meerbusch offers employees a smart working environment with modern IT solutions and state-of-the-art conference rooms.
