We are happy to share that Kyocera has announced its support of TCFD.
Since its founding, Kyocera has emphasized long-term sustainable development, growth and profitability. So in response to global climate change, we have targeted a 30% reduction in greenhouse gas emission and tenfold increase in energy obtained from renewable sources by 2030 compared to fiscal year 2013 levels.
In addition, Kyocera has positioned "Environment & Energy" as a key market in its global business strategy. We are working to develop VPP technology and, in Japan, recently developed a new service to support the installation of solar power generating systems without initial investment by the user.
