Kyocera, Lion and Sony Collaborate on a Musical Toothbrush to Help
Parents Struggling with Brushing Their Children's Teeth! Parents everywhere experience resistance from their children while brushing their teeth. To help solve this problem, Kyocera teamed up with Lion, a Japanese consumer goods company which manufactures oral care products , to develop "Possi," the musical toothbrush designed to make children enjoy brushing their teeth. Sony is supporting the collaboration team towards commercialization in Japan.
"I hope that we can bring the Possi toothbrush to parents that have struggled with the same troubles that I have and make their lives easier," commented Tomohiro Inagaki, the Kyocera engineer in charge of the Possi development project and father of a 3-year-old daughter.
Possi is currently being test marketed on Sony's crowdfunding website in Japan.
