Kyocera named one of the world's 100 most innovative companies for the 5th year in a row!
2019 marked the 5th year in a row Kyocera was named among the Derwent Top 100 Global Innovators by Clarivate Analytics, an information services agency focusing on intellectual property and innovation. The award was presented at Kyocera's headquarters in Kyoto, Japan.
As in previous years, Clarivate Analytics has recognized Kyocera's globalization and patent success rate as major accomplishments. Kyocera has been developing market-leading breakthroughs since its establishment, and its commitment to innovation has resulted in more than 18,000 patents worldwide to date. Kyocera's IP is driving innovations in a range of fields from IoT, where Kyocera's V2X solutions help make our roads safer, to medical, where Kyocera's Aquala artificial joint coating technology extends the expected life of an artificial joint replacement, and even jewelry, where Kyocera obtained a patent for a new silver alloy which can maintain the original shine of silver jewelry.
