We are using the technologies and reliability Kyocera has accumulated over the years as a foundation for technological innovation for CASE, and also to work to realize higher efficiency and lower energy consumption in vehicle manufacturing to support the automobile industry.
In the field of vehicle manufacturing, we will use lightweight materials, energy-saving designs, and high-precision manufacturing technologies to reduce the environmental impact that occurs through all stages from production to use and disposal. We will also develop technologies that improve the efficiency of manufacturing processes in order to contribute to the growth and development of a sustainable automotive industry.

Cutting Tools
These are products that are essential for the machining of many industrial products such as automobiles and aircrafts. Machining uses cutting tools to remove the unnecessary parts from materials to create the desired shape. It can be used for everything from mass production to the production of a large variety of different items in small quantities. Typical methods of machining include Turning (machining material from a rotating workpiece) and Milling (machining with a rotating tool), and it can be used for the machining of a variety of materials, including ferrous and non-ferrous metals.

CO2 Emission Simulation Tool
Kyocera is working towards the realization of carbon neutrality in 2050 by supporting the reduction of CO2 emissions during machining processes. In order to contribute to the reduction of energy consumption, the realization of high-efficiency machining and the reduction of machining failures, we visualize the CO2 emissions for each machining line with a unique trial calculation method and also propose tooling that will reduce the impact on the environment. We will also promote carbide recycling, support environmentally friendly industries, and will utilize DX technology to aim for efficient and stable machining. These efforts will enable us to support sustainable manufacturing.
