KYOCERA Fineceramics Precision GmbH ("KFPG"), which joined the Kyocera Group in spring 2019 as part of an acquisition agreement for Starck Ceramics' advanced materials business, brings with it the group's first ever European fine ceramic component manufacturing facility, as well as reaction bonded silicon carbide (RBSiC) processing technology - a new technology for Kyocera - which enables the production of highly rigid, large complex-shaped materials. As a result we will be able to offer an even wider range of materials, such as aluminum titanate (Al2TiO5) parts, which have excellent thermal shock resistance properties.
