PCI Express® M.2 is the new form factor which was invented for PCI-SIG by Intel and is developed for flat and high-efficiency equipment such as Ultrabooks™ and tablet PCs. It supports multiple modules utilizing the same slot designed for each key.
- Supports multiple modules by using various size of printed circuit boards and keying options. Possible solutions for future use will also be available.
Ex.) Reduces the need to modify printed circuit board design for Wi-Fi model, 3G model, etc.
- A smaller form factor in both size and volume, which enables flexible designs on printed circuit boards.
