The 6815 Series is FPC/FFC connectors for high-speed transmission featuring a pitch of 0.5mm and height of 1.90mm. This Series optimizes high-speed data transmission for high definition images and features up to 100 pins which is the world’s highest*1 pin count. The higher pin-count can reduce the total number of connectors required, allowing for space saving simplification of the circuit design and reducing the labor requirement for connector insertion and mounting. This connectors were designed to work with the V-by-One®HS*2 transmission interface, which reaches speeds up to 3.75Gbps.

  • As of high-speed transmission featuring a pitch of 0.5mm connector, features up to 100 pins which is the world’s highest*1 pin count.
  • Meets the maximum speed specified in next-generation interfaces V-by-One®HS* adopted in LCD TVs.
  • The standard type offers an operating temperature range of -40℃ to +85℃. The heat-resistant type features operability up to 105°C (257°F), for use in automotive infotainment such as car navigation systems.
  • Despite its low profile height of 1.90mm on the PCB, opening / closing operations are easy due to the convex-shaped actuator.
  • Provides a secure “click” feeling when locking / unlocking the actuator.
  • Misalignment of the contact position is prevented by combining the connector to a FPC/FFC with tabs, thus strengthening resistance to tensile force and achieving secure connection. Workability is improved because the FPC/FFC is held (tentatively) before full insertion.
  • This series corresponds to the FFC with arranged impedance to enhance transmission performance.
