6844 Series

The 6844 Series are light, compact FPC Connectors featuring a pitch of 0.3mm, height of 0.95mm on board, and width of 2.7mm in the mounting space. This series was developed to meet requirements for lighter and more compact connectors in the DSC (Digital Still Camera) market. Width of the mounting space is reduced by approximately 25% compared to our existing products. Despite their slim designs, these connectors feature accurate positioning for secure mating as well as good operability, and provide a nice “click” feeling in the locking system.

Features

  • Space-saving is greatly achieved with a fine pitch 0.3mm, height of 0.95mm on the board, and width of 2.7mm in the mounting space.
  • Good operability in spite of its slim and low profile features. Provides a nice “click” feeling when locked.
  • Metal is not exposed on the back of the connector, thus enabling flexible design layouts on boards, which is suitable for high-density packages.
  • Misalignment of contacting position is prevented by using an FPC with tabs. Holds the FPC before completely mated (temporary retention), which leads to secure mating and improvement of working efficiency.
  • Applicable FPC thickness is 0.2mm.
  • Contact Material: Copper alloy
