KYOCERA Optec to Exhibit at the 18th China International Optoelectronic Exposition (CIOE), World's Largest Optoelectronics Event
September 5, 2016The Kyocera Group's (President: Goro Yamaguchi) subsidiary in charge of manufacturing and sales of wide-ranging lenses for the optical market, Kyocera Optec Co., Ltd., announced that it will exhibit at the China International Optoelectronic Exposition (CIOE) -- being held from September 6 to 9 at the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center.
Kyocera Optec will exhibit various lenses utilizing high technology and development capabilities cultivated over many years which are manufactured based on high-precision molding, introducing new possibilities and efforts for optical lenses. By participating in this tradeshow, the world's largest optoelectronics event expecting more than 3,200 exhibitors, the company aims to further strengthen global business operations.
1. Infrared Lenses
|Featuring superior performance for far-infrared rays, demand for infrared lenses is expected for camera applications in the security and automotive fields. In addition to silicon and germanium lenses, Kyocera Optec will introduce molded aspheric lenses utilizing chalcogenide glass as a reference exhibit.||

2. Glass spherical / glass aspheric lenses
|The company will showcase aspheric lenses featuring high precision and large diameters, which were conventionally difficult to process, in addition to a variety of spherical lenses.||
