KYOCERA Partners with Telenor Connexion to Provide M2M Solutions Targeting Automotive and Industrial Markets Internationally

KYOCERA CorporationKyocera Corporation (President: Goro Yamaguchi), the Japanese wireless technology expert and provider of wireless modules for LTE and GSM/UMTS networks as well as wireless handsets, and Telenor Connexion, the leading provider of connected business solutions for M2M, today announced a partnership agreement to supply M2M solutions internationally.
The joint effort is mainly targeted towards the premium car segment. OEMs with applications in need of high speed connection and instant access such as car telematics, and on-board units for intelligent transport systems are also of special interest. Other M2M applications in smart metering, telemetry, e-Health and security markets in need of a long-term and reliable solution to protect their key assets are also in focus.
OEM customers will benefit from reduced time-to-market as well as future-proof and easy-to-integrate connectivity solutions.
