KYOCERA Completes Share Transfer with Toppan Printing and NEC Corporation, Making ‘NEC Toppan Circuit Solutions’ a Wholly-Owned Subsidiary

Company name changed to KYOCERA Circuit Solutions, Inc.

Kyocera Corporation (President: Goro Yamaguchi) announced on August 6, 2013 that it would be acquiring all shares in NEC Toppan Circuit Solutions, Inc. (also known as “TNCSi”). According to plan, as of October 1, 2013, all shares have been transferred and the company has become a wholly-owned subsidiary. An overview of the new subsidiary, including new company name and new president, is provided below.

The new company name was chosen in order to further enhance recognition of the Kyocera Group’s business in the global market by combining the KYOCERA brand name along with a description of the subsidiary’s main business. The company name change takes effect today, October 1, 2013.
