KYOCERA Group to Exhibit at CEATEC JAPAN 2012 Tradeshow Oct. 2-6

Featuring the company’s comprehensive technology & product line

The Kyocera Group will be exhibiting featured products and technologies at the CEATEC JAPAN 2012 tradeshow from October 2 through 6 at the Makuhari Messe International Convention Complex (Chiba Pref., Japan).

Showcasing the Kyocera Group’s technological and integrated capabilities, the company’s booth is arranged into theme displays featuring: Environmental & Energy, Information & Communications, and Automotive Components.

Furthermore, Kyocera will be cooperating to display its solar energy products in the Smart Mobility Innovation 2012 special exhibition, Smart Mobility “ZERO” (Hall 1), which is being organized by Nissan Motor Co. Ltd. In addition, a new enhanced hearing aid function equipped mobile phone jointly developed with KDDI Corporation will be introduced at both KDDI and Kyocera’s booths.

Environmental & Energy:
Featured products: Solar modules for energy generation, Solid Oxide Fuel Cells (SOFCs) and LEDs for energy reduction, and storage batteries for energy storage. In addition, we will introduce an Energy Management System (EMS) which utilizes cutting-edge Kyocera technologies.
Highlights: Video presentation at the front side of the booth, introducing the Kyocera Group’s diverse efforts in the environmental and energy business.

Information & Communications:
Featured products: New smartphones, feature phones and a wide range of miniaturized, highly functional components.
Highlights: Touch-and-try demonstrations of the Smart Sonic Receiver technology which transmits clear voice reception via vibration of the display screen. Panel display of the Smart Sonic receiver technology equipped with a new enhanced hearing aid function. New TCXO for mobile communications handsets with the world’s smallest size. ,

Automotive Components:
Featured products: A variety of components and devices that contribute to higher intelligence and environmental efficiency in automobiles.
Highlights: First-time exhibition of high reliability LCDs for automotive applications provided by Kyocera Display Corporation.

Industrial Equipment:
Featured products: Kyocera’s market-leading thermal printheads and world’s fastest inkjet printheads, which are essential for on-demand commercial printing and realize high image quality.
Highlights: Fine ceramic components used in an accelerator for the study of the Higgs particle by CERN (the European Organization for Nuclear Research).
