24th Seiwajyuku World Convention Held
The 24th Seiwajyuku World Convention was held at the Pacifico Yokohama Convention Hall on July 13 and 14. This year's convention attracted a record number of 4,773 attendees, including 465 people from the U.S., China, Korea and other countries. The hall was filled with an air of excitement.
Six representatives selected from each area made presentations about what they have learned at Seiwajyuku and their management experiences. Dr. Kazuo Inamori commented on each of these presentations. At the close of the first day, a grand banquet was held.
On the second day, recipients were announced for the Inamori Management Award for Excellence, which recognizes outstanding management achievement. At the end of the convention, Inamori gave a lecture on the subject of nurturing people. Inamori described how to nurture employees in corporate management, as well as selecting and grooming a successor. Students listened to his speech carefully, writing down notes as Inamori spoke.
Over 4,700 students filled the hall with an air of excitement.
