Inamori Gives Lectures in Paris and Lyon, France
Dr. Kazuo Inamori gave a lecture titled "The Reconstruction of Japan Airlines" at the CCI Paris Ile-de-France on May 6. Inamori gave the lecture after a special request from the French-Japanese economic exchange committee within the CCI. About 400 people attended this lecture, including CCI members and executives from major French corporations.
On May 7, Inamori received a Ph.D. honoris causa from EMLYON Business School and gave a lecture after the commencement ceremony. EMLYON is regarded as one of the best business schools in Europe and they bestowed the Ph.D. on Inamori because of his achievements in management based on altruism. His lecture was titled "Why Does Altruism Bring Growth and Development to Companies?" Around 550 people, including students and alumni, attended his lecture and listened with enthusiasm.
