Inamori Hangzhou Management Philosophy Convention Held
On June 28-29, the Inamori Hangzhou Management Philosophy Convention was held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China, with approximately 2,000 attendees, including Seiwajyuku students from China and Japan.
Six business owners from China and Japan gave presentations about how they practiced Dr. Kazuo Inamori's management philosophy. At the close of the convention, Inamori gave a lecture entitled "The Way of Work -- How Managers Should Work."
In his lecture, Inamori expressed that managers should keep a passionate desire in their hearts "to succeed in business no matter what happens" and strive harder than anyone else. He also mentioned that in order to continue their business success, managers should have a "selfless mind," making sincere efforts toward the happiness of their employees, citizens, and society beyond their own personal interest and benefit. He concluded his lecture saying that happiness for managers is feeling the honor and delight of doing good things for their employees, citizens, and society.
