Importance of the Philosophy
Under the Amoeba Management System, a company is subdivided into small units that operate independently using a divisional accounting system. Because this gives each leader a great degree of freedom and discretion, it requires all leaders to exhibit a higher level of character and humanity. To make this possible, a system of universal decision-making criteria should be shared throughout the company.
Management must adhere to a philosophy that asks, "What is the right thing to do as a human being?" as our standard of judgment
"Philosophy" refers to the universal judgment criteria reflected in the terms "fairness, justice, sincerity, persistence, effort and selflessness."
