Pricing Is Management

Pricing dictates the life or death of management. There are infinite levels of pricing, ranging from a paper-thin margin that maximizes units sold, to a lucrative margin that limits sales.

It is very difficult to forecast how many units you will sell at a given price. Therefore, we need to accurately assess the value of our products and find the point at which "units sold" times "margin" creates the highest profit. That is the optimal point that makes our customers and Kyocera both happy.

We must carefully make pricing decisions to seek that one optimum point.
