Management
Principle 2: Set Specific Goals
Once targets are set, share them with all employees.
It is crucial for business managers to set high goals and communicate them throughout the organization. You must guide the company in a clear direction and paint a picture of the future. Moreover, it's vital to provide detailed strategies to bring this future into reality.
During the process of achieving these goals, many obstacles will undoubtedly arise. Regardless of any challenges, you must unite your organization with a strong will and unleash their collective power to reach your goals.
While a vision should be dreamy and ambitious, clear plans are vital to achieve it. Goals should be defined spatially and temporally down to the smallest unit in the company. Every single employee must have specific goals under clear guidelines. Further, in addition to annual targets, monthly objectives must also be precisely set.
