The Desktop User Terminal allows subscribers to experience true broadband service without hard-wiring. It also eliminates the need for line maintenance, which is often required by wired broadband access.
Since the Desktop User Terminal automatically establishes and maintains an optimized base station connection, subscribers can easily relocate the user terminal anywhere in an iBurst network’s coverage area — whether to a different room or even across town — and reconnect as soon as the user terminal is turned back on. |
