Other organic photosensitive materials (OPC) are prone to deterioration at
temperatures around 60 C,
and are very sensitive to damage due to oils and solvents. The a-Si drum, on the
other hand, maintains its characteristics even after storage at temperatures of
200C. The a-Si drum also suffers no solvent deterioration, which makes it
the perfect choice for liquid toner printers. |
