Extreme Environmental Resistance |

Conventional organic photoconductors (OPC) cannot operate in extreme environments. They are prone to deterioration at temperatures around 60 C, and are very sensitive to damage caused by oils and solvents. In contrast, the a-Si drum maintains its operating characteristics even after storage at temperatures of
200 C. Additionally, the a-Si drum suffers no deterioration from solvents, which makes it the optimal choice for use in liquid-toner printers. |
