| Unlike static drive that inputs and exposes data a line at a time, a dynamic
drive prints text using a diode matrix time-sharing drive like the one illustrated
below. This system divides one line of data into n blocks, and exposes each block
in sequence. This makes it possible to reduce the number of drive chips, making
this a low-cost head. |
