This is to advise to you that Kyocera Corporation (President: Tetsuo Kuba) has announced that Mr. Yuzo Yamamura, the Vice Chairman and Representative Director, will resign from office as of August 31, 2009 due to health reasons. At this time, a change in the assignment of a director, to be effective as of September 1, 2009, was resolved at the meeting of the Board of Directors held yesterday, as set forth below.
