Background to the publication
The task in the age of the global environment is to develop clean energy to be a substitute for fossil fuels. The energy sources that only particular countries possess create tension on earth, causing discords between countries. An energy source like solar energy has great significance for the planet because it is clean, and is evenly distributed across different regions and available for everybody to enjoy.
Kyocera's Solar Energy business has the noble philosophy of contributing to the advance and development of human society from a long-term perspective, beyond the pursuit of short-term interests.
With this philosophy as the driving force, Kyocera has always pursued its business in solar energy, holding the conviction that solar cells technology will benefit people and society.
We are now working hard on further improvements in the technology and its saturation and popularization. We have decided to publish the Kyocera Solar Spirit Book to encourage the employees working in the solar energy business to reaffirm this spirit and history and be proud of the business.
