Kyocera would like to offer our heartfelt sympathy to the people affected by the devastating earthquake and tsunami in northeastern Japan.
The Kyocera Group has announced that it will donate 100 million yen (US$1.22 million) for relief aid and reconstruction to the people and communities affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake. Furthermore, Kyocera Corporation and its Group companies both inside and outside of Japan have already begun to set up fundraising collections from employees to gather additional aid donations.
The Kyocera Group in Japan is actively cooperating with energy saving measures, including turning off illuminated outdoor advertising signs, in response to the power shortages affecting the Tokyo area.
Kyocera extends our heartfelt sympathy to the people affected and offers our sincere wishes for their swift recovery.
