On October 22-23, the 2011 Kazuo Inamori Dalian Management Philosophy Convention, organized by the Kazuo Inamori Beijing Management Consultants, Ltd., was held in Dalian in Liaoning Province, China with 871 people in attendance including Seiwajyuku students from China and Japan.
The purpose of this convention was to contribute to the development of Chinese enterprises by spreading Inamori’s management philosophy in China. With the same purpose in mind, other conventions were held in Beijing (June 2010), Tsingtao (October 2010) and Guangzhou (September 2011).
On October 23, four business leaders from China and Japan gave presentations about their management experiences. Professors who are studying Inamori Management Philosophy also gave lectures in addition to holding panel discussions. The opening ceremony of the Dalian Seiwa Corporate Culture Study Group, which was established to spread Inamori’s Management Philosophy in China, took place as well. Toward the end of the convention, Inamori gave a lecture titled Kyocera Accounting Principles.
Inamori stated in his lecture that Management Philosophy lies at the core of Kyocera Accounting Principles, and further emphasized the importance of establishing an accounting system based on a Management Philosophy that stems from universal human values; thus creating a fair corporate culture within a company.
