| Kazuo Inamori appeared as a guest on the CCTV (Chinese Central Television) program Dialogue, which was broadcast in China on February 13, 2011. This is his second time on the show since 2008. He talked about his management philosophy for about an hour.
During the show, he said that “the primary purpose of managing a company is to pursue the happiness of employees. I would like to instill this idea at Japan Airlines as I did at Kyocera and Dainidenden (now KDDI).” He also stated that “the Japanese must look back to the teachings of Chinese philosophers to develop a country with actions based on the conscience.”
